God be with those men and women, from many nations, who so bravely stand up in the name of freedom. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your families.
It is so hard to find the words to express how I feel. It is difficult to see someone you love go to distant places, or even stay right here, knowing they place themselves in danger, so that others may remain free and safe. Yet it is with a feeling of pride and respect that we watch them go.
To the sons, the daughters, the husbands, the wives, the mothers and fathers, who are so couragously willing to make the greatest sacrifice, - we love you, we salute you, and we hold you closely in our hearts and prayers.
Dear Soldiers
We stand and watch with teary eyes,
as those that we love climb on board.
Our hearts make a plea to heaven,
oh please keep them safe precious Lord.
We'll hold you in our hearts so close,
you will surround our thoughts each day.
We stand with pride to support you,
while the Stars and Stripes we display.
We know God's sending an angel,
that will stand and watch over you.
And multitudes in the heavens,
will be watching and praying too.
God Bless and keep you dear soldiers,
no matter how far you may go.
You'll always be within our hearts,
our love spans all miles you know.
Many candles will be burning,
ribbons hanging for all to see.
Until we greet you once again,
when home you return, proud and free.
