James Albert Brock

James Albert Brock, 41, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at Pineville Community Hospital.

He was born June 28,1960, at Hulen, a son of Simon Brock and the late Ester Rotella Centers Brock. He was a member of Arjay Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marty and Audie Brock; and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Brock, Straight Creek; father and step-mother, Simon and Dorothy Brock, Straight Creek; three brothers, Tim Wayne Brock, Pineville, Perry Senters, Straight Creek, and Simon Brock Jr., Frakes; five sisters, Ester Gardener, Blackmont, Carrie Sloane, Pineville, Tammy Marie Warren, Pineville, Jennie Lou North, Michigan, and Judy Grubbs, Pineville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were to be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Durham Funeral Home with the Revs. Bill Poore and Luther Collett presiding. Music will be provided by Josh Collins and Russell Murphy.

Burial will be in Tackett Hill Cemetery at Hulen. Pallbearers will be Arnold Wade Collins, Rick Washington, Agar Hembree, Gary Cinnamon, Marty Howard, Rick Foster, Lamar Grubbs Jr., Perry Senters, and Paul Logan. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Warren, Lee Lions, and Elders of Arjay Baptist Church. Durham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
