This simulates a 360-degree panoramic view. The tripod-mounted camera was rotated to the right after each photo to place the right edge of the just-taken photo (as seen through the viewfinder) at the center of the next photo. In addition, the current "first" photo is actually the third photo in the taken pictures--that is, after the "lead" photo was framed, the camera was rotated two photos to the left (so that the left edge of the "lead" photo formed the right edge of the first snapped picture). This provides a more seamless appearance in the event that a visitor clicks one or two photos to the left of the "lead" photo. The true first and second photos are placed at the end of the list of images in the form array.

The panoramic effect can be improved further by cropping your images so that they are twice as wide as they are tall, rather than the traditional one-half again as wide as they are tall. For example, use 270x540 pixel (WebTV-sized) images rather than 400x600 pixel images.
