3. Mr. Perfect is crowned IC Champion after defeating Tito Santana in the tournament final. TOURNAMENT RESULTS: 1st round: Pefect d. Jimmy Snuka; Roddy Piper and Rick Martel were both disqualified; Tito Santana d. Akeem; Dino Bravo and Brutus Beefcake were both counted out SEMIS: Pefect and Santana both had byes; FINAL: Perfect d. Santana

4. Michaels was stripped of the title on 9/27/93 when he was suspended for failing to make contractual title defenses (real reason unsure).

5. The title was put up in a 20 man battle royal, where the last two men would meet in a match for the title. Ramon d. Rick Martel in the match to claim the title.

6. The title was held up in a match between Jarrett and Bob Holly on 4/25/95 in Moline, IL. Two referees made conflicting calls of the match forcing the title to be held up and filled in a rematch.

7. Jarrett won the rematch with Bob Holly later that night (Action Zone TV taping)

8. This was a ladder match.

9. Dean Douglas (more commonly known as Shane Douglas) won the title via forfeit when Michaels was unable to defend the title in a scheduled match due to injuries sustained outside of the ring. Douglas then made the mistake of defending his new title against Razor Ramon.

10. The title was held up in a match between Goldust and Savio Vega on 4/01/96 in San Bernadino, CA. Two referees made conflicting calls of the match forcing the title to be held up and filled in a rematch.

11. Goldust won the rematch with Savio Vega later that night (RAW TV taping)

12. Johnson was stripped of the title on August 12, 1996 due to a hip injury. It was placed in an 8-man tournament held on Aug. 18 and the final on Sep. 23.

13. Mero won the tournament to win the vacant title.

14. Austin is offically stripped of the title the day of the tournament final. He hurt his neck the match he won the belt, but could not make one defense. A tournament began in September while Austin still held the belt.

15. Tournament results: (Sept. 8-Oct. 5): Quarters: Owen Hart d. Goldust; Brian Pillman d. Dude Love by DQ; Ken Shamrock d. Faarooq; Ahmed Johnson d. Rocky Maivia; Semis: Hart d. Pillman by DQ; Faarooq (replacing an injured Shamrock) d. Johnson by DQ; Finals: Owen d. Faarooq

16. Austin forfeited the title during this match, at order of Vince McMahon, instead of defending the title.

17. HHH beat Maivia in a ladder match.

18. HHH was stripped of the title due to a knee injury. It was put up in a one-night 8-man tournament.

19. Ken Shamrock d. X-Pac in the final to win the title.

20. The Godfather gave The Big Bossman 5 "hoes" to wrestle Goldust for him. Bossman won the match and title and gave the title to The Godfather.

21. Chyna became the first woman to win the title by defeating Jarrett in a "Good Housekeeping" match.

22. The title was help up after both Chyna and Jericho pinned each other at the same time by two referees.
