Notes:

1. Buddy Rogers was the first World Wide Wrestling Federation champion, shortly after its formation. The WWWF was created after a controversial match versus Rogers and NWA World Champion Lou Thesz. The decision went to Thesz, but the promoters backlashed, and created their own organization, and made Rogers champion. He is said to have defeated Antonino Rocca in a fictional tournament in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
