Denney, William O. (b. 12 MAR 1886, d. 7 SEP 1979)
Note: His MI may be O or D, I am adding a wife Amy M. to him based solely upon the fact that I find a William O. and Amy M. Denney buried together in the North Grove Cemetery, Celina, Mercer County, Ohio along with a James E. Denney (brother). UPDATE: Williams death certificate confirms Amy Runkle as his wife. His wife is shown in 1900 & 1910 census reports as Anna M and Annie M and in the 1920 census as Amy M.
He last resided at 429 Fulton Street, Celina, Ohio
He was a retired farmer and was a night watchman at Reynolds & Reynolds in Celina for 20 years and was a member of the Macedon Christan Church
William died of cardiac arrest and was laid to rest at the North Grove Cemetery, Celina, Ohio
His wife Amy died of influenza and pneumonia, conditions brought on by cancer of the colon. She was laid to rest at the North Grove Cemetery, Celina, Ohio. She was probably residing with son Wilson at time of her death as the death certificate showed her residence as Collinsville, Ohio and that is where Wison lived

Note: I am putting a family together for this William based solely on suspicion that it is correct based on census reports. The 1920 Gallia County Ohio census had a WILLIE Lawless listed with this wife and daughter. William went by WILLIE and the year of birth is close to correct.

Note: This marriage for Sarah is based upon the fact that she no longer lived with her mother and siblings during the 1860 Gallia County census which indicates she was married or deceased or moved out. In looking at the marriage records, we have a Sarah F. Denney and her age would have been about correct for a marriage, further proof is needed to verify this marriage.
There are indications that she may have had another marriage to a WATTS
