Charles Ray Plants, age 60, of Ho?er Chapel Rd. Apple Grove, WV, died Monday evening, Feb 12?, 1990 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. following an extended illness Born Feb, 15, 1929, in Apple Grove. Wv, he was the son fo Hallie Young of Apple Grove and the late Robert Plants. He was employed by West Virginia Dept. of Highways in Mason Co.,

Also surviving are his wife Edith (Shuler) and eight daughters: Evelyn Pearson and Susan Hammack both of NC, Kathy Frank of Parkersburg, WV, Rose Plants of Galliopolis, OH, Hallie N and Connie ? of Apple Grove, WV, and three sons, William Raym of O????< WV, Charles Robert, of Galliplois Ferry, WV, and Mark Allen Plants, Philo.

Other survivors, include six sisters, Mabel Anderson of SC, Violet Chapman, of Miniport, OH, Emma Long of Apple Grove, and Dorothy Coleman?, Alma McConnell and Doris L??? of Troy, OH, five brothers Forest Plants,both of Some??, KY Harry and Richard Plants of Troy, OH and James and Noah Plants of Apple Grove, WV, and 18 grandchildren

He was preceded in death by one brother Geroge Plants.
Services will be held Thrusday , 1:00 PM at the Barton Chaple Church. Burial will be at the Barton Chapel ChurchCemetery
