Priest, Flora Belle (b. 16 DEC 1874, d. 9 DEC 1925)

Note: Not 100”ertain correct wife for Howard Amos, her death certificate states she was WIDOWED, yet she died 23 years before Howard. I think she was widowed from a first husband and divorced from Howard. The reasoning for this is that in Howard's obit, he had two children, James & Fern, in her obit she had six children, four plus the James & Fern, thus I think she had three children from a previous marriage (possibly to a MILLER), those being Pearl Hyatt, Harvey Miller, Sarah Miller

She died of complications of diseases and was laid to rest at the Fallsburg Cemetery (Newark, Ohio?) on Dec 11, 1925 (Fallsbury Township, State RT 79, 1/4 mile West of State Rt 586)

Amos, George Leslie (b. 15 NOV 1907, d. ABT 13 OCT 1934)

Note: George was a farm worker

He died of a skull fracture, the coroner stated that it likely was caused by possible suicide when he jumped into the North Fork of the Licking River near the Waterworks. He was reported missing for four days before his body was found a short distance from the dam.

His sister Fern E. Powless was the informant on his death certificate

His exact date of death unknown, Cedar Hill Cemetery Records indicate it was Oct 7, 1934 but that would probably be the GONE MISSING date!

He was laid to rest on October 16, 1934 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, Ohio
