Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century Photos

James P. Finnan

This cabinet card image was made by Albert L. Rogers, successor to Busey, one of the earliest photo studios in Baltimore. Rogers was located at 68 Lexington Street in the early 1880s and 112 North Charles Street in the 1890s. The inscription on the back of this photo is most interesting, "My Republican Friend, V. D. Plowman, May 25th 1891. With best wishes of an Irish Democrat. Jas. B. Finnan."
