Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century Photos

Charles S. Ford (1849-1890) is shown in a tintype above made in
one of the Wagner studios on Baltimore Street (unfortunately,
the logo on the back is only partially legible). Below, is a unique photo
of Ford's business located on Lombard north of Hanover. The studio
is not identified. The sign reads:
"C. Ford & Co.
Manufacturers of
Parlor Suits
and
Lounges"

Below is a cabinet card image (somewhat faded) of
William Henry Ford (1877-1945). He is the son of Charles S. Ford.
This photo is labelled as "W H Ford, age 16."
The image was created by Henkel & Co of 644 West Baltimore Street.
Henkel is listed in Kelbaugh's directory as being in business
only in 1894, exactly when W H Ford was 16.
