Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century Photos

James Hitt had this cabinet card created by the Darby studio in Baltimore probably in the very early 20th century. HIs collar may have been fashionable but sure looks uncomfortable. Hitt was engaged to marry Maude Eccleston but unexpectedly he succumbed to
typhoid fever. Maude never married.
