| Cabinet card photos
of Mamie and George Loatz were found together and are presumably brother
and sister. On the back of her photo is written, "To my Mama, Annie Loatz.
From your Daughter Mamie" On the reverse of his photo, the caption says,
"To Annie from Georgie H." The handwriting looks suspiciously similar. Certainly,
there is no question that the photos prove these two are related. Photos from the Proctor Gallery are not commonly seen examples. James H. Proctor was in business in Baltimore from 1887 through at least 1903. He was located at 829 North Gay Street from 1894 through 1903. |
