Mrs. J. S. Moon had this cabinet card  (which I have cropped)
made in the studio of Shadle & Busser in York, Pennsylvania.
She is included on this web site because she was a resident of
Baltimore City. The back of the photo is displayed below.

As a matter of fact, this photo is part of a very interesting collection
of Baltimore photos found in a Barcelona, Spain antiques shop
by Matthew Hovious. In addition to the description noted below,
an additional comment, "Mother's friend" was included on
the photograph suggesting that Mrs Moon may have been a
friend of Mrs Stehl. To learn more about this interesting story,
