Lena Presgraves Willard
August Walter Presgraves

These four images, submitted by Michael Brill depict Lena Presgraves
and her brother August Walter Presgraves, children of James and Dorothea Heise Presgraves.

Lena was born in 1885 and died at the good age of 98 years. She was married perhaps
twice according to the US census. She is enumerated first as Lena Webster but was named Lena Willard
in her brother August Pregraves' obituary in 1964.

The photo above on the left is perhaps a christening photo and was taken in the Wilkes studio. On the right,
brother and sister perhaps at his christening is also from the Wilkes Studio.

Below on the left, from the Baltimore Photo Studio is an image of Lena Presgraves taken on 8 May 1897
which could well be at the time of her confirmation. On the right, an early home snapshot, perhaps
from the 1915 time frame.

August and Lena Heise, their daughter Dorothea Heise Presgraves and her husband James Presgraves,
Lena Presgraves Willard and August Walter Presgraves are interred in Loudon Park Cemetery.
August H. F. Heise, son of August and Lena is also interred int his plot. He died in 1900 at
age 29, the victim of a locomotive explosion on the Baltimore and Sparrows Point RR.
