Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century Photos

Julius Schmidt was born in May 1869 in Riga, Latvia, son of T. Schmidt and
Annie Neuman. He died in 1918. Julius and his brothers immigrated to Baltimore
between 1885 to 1888 where they worked for the B&O Railroad but
later moved south to Louisana and Texas.

Both of these cabinet cards were made in Baltimore's Perkins Photo Studio.
