Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century Photos

Elsie Shriner

Elsie Shriner

This CDV of Elsie Shriner was part of a photo album salvaged by
Shelley Cardiel. It was the only photo from a Baltimore studio.
Fortunately, the names of many individuals were included.
Other surnames in the album are Day, Keppler, Billingsly, Kessler, Cleaver
and others. Most seem to be from Pennsylvania, though
Shelley was able to identify some families in Maryland.

The inscription on the reverse side says, "Elsie Shriner, Girlfriend of Grandma."

The Blessing Studio was located at 214 North Charles Street from
1887 until it was destroyed in the Baltimore Fire of 1904.
This photo is likely from the late 1880 - early 1890 time frame.

If you know more about these families, Shelley would like to hear from you -
