of Sarah Fell Trower is very likely an early home photo. It was taken in
the kitchen of the family home at 1540 North Broadway in Baltimore. There
is no studio logo and of course, it is a subject matter that would never
be photographed in a professional studio. What a terrific image! Sarah Fell (1832-1911) was the daughter of Philip Stuart Fell (merchant mariner) and Frances Ann Wise. She married Jesse E. Trower, Jr. |
William Fell Trower (186101901),
was the brother of Jesse E. Trower Jr, and son of Captain Jesse E. Trower
and Sarah Fell Trower. He was a tobacco salesman. He never married. He was
interred in Loudon Park Cemetery. William also lived at 1540 North Broadway.
