The 2010 Darrell Awards Jury is pleased to announce that it has selected the following nominated stories as the Finalists for the 2010 Darrell Awards for Best Midsouth Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror Novel & Novella.

Novellas
  • Hologram Bride -- by Jackie Gamber, as seen in Issues 12 and 13 of Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show (online magazine)
  • The Patriarch by Brandon Massey (as seen in The Ancestors, Dafina Books, Kensington Publishing Group); 
  • Hold the Dark by Frank Tuttle (Samhain Publishing)

Novels

  • A Mage of None Magic by A. Christopher Drown (Tyrannosaurus Press);
  • The Good Humor Man, Or, Calorie 3501 by Andrew Fox (Tachyon Publications);
  • At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost (Avon Fiction); and
  • Bride of Tranquility by Tracy S. Morris (Yarddog Press) .
