Open 1st April to 31st October, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 11.00am to 4.00pm.
1st November to 31st March, Tuesday to Friday, 12.30pm to 4.00pm, Sunday 10.30am to 3.30pm. (Closed 25th December)

Country park with visitor centre, nature reserve, picnic area and excellent winter wildfowl site. Booster scooters available for loan from discovery centre.
The visitor centre has an interactive display. Visitors put on explorer helmets, through which tales are told.
The country park and visitor centre are part of the much larger 'heronry' area which encompasses woodlands, farmlands, wetlands and the disused Barnsley Canal.
