Palladian house built in 1733 for Sir Rowland Winn, by James Paine, where Chippendale started out his career by making furniture especially for the house, which probably exhibits some of the cabinet maker's finest work.
The house has fine examples of Robert Adam's interiors and many other treasures.
There are a shop and tearoom at this National Trust property.
There is also a lakeside walk and children's playground.
