Fenton, MO -- Dina Lee Baldwin
Satterfield, 58, 20 Forest Knoll Drive, died Sunday (July 27, 1997) after
a brief illness.
She graduated from Lynn View High School
in 1956 and was employed for a number of years with Kingsport Press and
later with Sayers of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her father,
Edward P. Baldwin (July, 1989); her maternal grandparents, Corbett and
Myra Gilliam; her paternal grandparents, Willard and Ellen Baldwin.
Surviving are her mother, Beulah E.
Baldwin, Kingsport, her special, devoted and loving friend, Paul Weakly,
Fenton, MO; four sisters; Mrs. Clabe (Mary Helen) Swanay, Mrs. Harold (LaRue)
Pannell and Mrs. Ray (Philomenia) Todde, all of Kingsport and Mrs. David
(Sharon Kaye) Johnson, Gatlinburg, TN; two nieces, Ms. Debra K. Swanay
Oliver and Ms. Tamara R. Todd, both of Kingsport; three nephews, Tim
Pannell, Aiken, SC, Steve Todd, Hampton, VA and Andy Todd, Knoxville, TN;
three great-nephews, Matt Oliver, Kingsport, Dustin Pannell, Aiken SC and
Tyler Todd, Hampton, VA; a great-niece, Ashley Todd, Hampton, VA; a
special friend Irwin (AChub0 Janssen, Ozarks, MO and several aunts, uncles
and cousins.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday at Oak Hill Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted at
7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Joan Brooks Droke, 71, went home to be with
Jesus on March 27, 2009, at her residence. Joan had a great love
for her Lord and Savior. She always expressed this love through
her service to others, and she was known by her smile and soft
spoken voice. She loved her church family and was very faithful to
serve in any way she could.
After graduating from ETSU, Joan was employed with Eastman for
several years. She later resigned from Eastman to begin her
favorite career of caring for her children. She was a loving
mother and a loving, faithful wife to her husband.
Joan was raised in Lynn Garden Baptist Church under Pastor J. L.
Trent. In 1971, she joined Indian Springs Baptist Church where she
served until her home going. Joan was involved in the choir and
her Sunday School class and was always by her husband's side in
the church kitchen.
Joan was preceded in death by her infant son, Anthony Wayne Droke;
parents, Dana and Mary Ruth Odom; grandparents, Robert and Bertha
Hutson and Harrison and Lyda Odom; and one step-brother, J.D.
Odom.
Joan is survived by her husband, J. Wayne Droke; son Patrick Droke
of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Angie Droke and Mari Beth Droke,
both of Kingsport; one sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Larry
Lyon of Kingsport; and a special nephew, Jason Lyon of
Chattanooga, TN.
A memorial and praise service will be held on Sunday, March 29,
2009, at Indian Springs Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. with the
family receiving friends after the service.
