Mrs. Deborah Kerns Mrs. Deborah Gray Kern, 22, of 223 Kern Street, died at 9:30 p.m.
Wednesday (Feb. 3, 1971) at Holston Valley Community Hospital after
suffering a cerebral hemorrhage Monday night at her home. She was an employee of Home Federal Savings & Loan, of
Kingsport, a graduate of Lynn View High School, Class of 1966, and a
member of Lynn Garden Baptist Church. Survivors include her" husband, Roger Lee Kern, of the home;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Gray of Kingsport; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Judy)
Jones of Kingsport, Mrs. Gary (Rebecca) McConnell of Asheville, N. C.;

died Wednesday, will be conducted' at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lynn Garden
Baptist Church with the Rev. J. L., Trent, Rev. A. Tom Crawford and Rev.
Carl L. Strickler officiating. Burial will follow In the Oak Hill Cemetery. The body will remain at Carter's Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services. Carters Chapel Funeral Home Is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are: Larry Dishner, Claude, Smith, Edwin Johnson, Danny
