Jimmy Jennings

James Robert Jennings, Kingsport, died Thursday (Aug. 18, 1994) at Indian Path Medical Center after an extended illness.

A native of Scott Count, Va., he spent most of his life in Kingsport.  He was a member, former steward and a member of the men's Bible class at Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby Jennings, of the home; one daughter, mrs. Gordon (Glenda) Brown, Winston-Salem, N. C.;two grandchildren; one brother, Harold Jennings, Kingsport; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jim Adcock officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Mausoleum.
