William C. Morgan

KINGSPORT - William C.  (J.P.)  Morgan , 55, 381 May St., died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1999) at Holston Valley Medical Center after a lengthy battle with diabetes. Mr.  Morgan  was born in Sullivan County, where he had lived most of his life.

 He had worked at Mason Dixon for 20 years, last working as an over the road truck driver. He was a member of Teamster Local 549. He was an avid CB'er going by the handle of ``J.P.'' 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Morene  Morgan ; and one sister, Shirley Ann  Morgan . Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Shelby Jean Jarrett  Morgan , of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Kevin Lisenby, Kingsport; one very special granddaughter,  Morgan  Morene Lisenby; honorary daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Otis Trout, Church Hill; honorary grandson, Nicholas Trout; one sister, Pat Phillips, Church Hill; in-laws, Bessie and Bill Clawson, Church Hill, Steve and Sue Jarrett, Mt. Carmel; and several nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport or anytime at the home. Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Aaron Pierce officiating. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery. 

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be given to Patient Fund Dialysis Center at Allandale, Kingsport, Tenn. 37660.

Judy Mosley (Falk)

ATLANTA, Ga. - Judy Ann Mosley Falk, 59, died Wednesday (Nov. 19, 2003).

She is survived by her loving husband, Washington Falk III of Atlanta; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Terry Weiss; beloved grandchildren, Daniel Jason and Whitney Jessica Weiss, all of Atlanta; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Michael Cleary of Ramsey, N.J.; her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Barbara Falk of Rye, N.J.; her mother, Ruth Mosley of Kingsport; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Alan Newland of Kingsport; nephews, Michael Newland of Morgantown, Ky., Tim Newland of Dalton Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Judy Falk of Kingsport; nieces, Amber Brown of Atlanta, Ga., and Alexa Mosley of Washington, D.C.; and many close friends.

Judy was born in Kingsport. She graduated from Lynn View High School where she was involved with music and the arts. She was recognized by Atlanta magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in Atlanta. Judy was an accomplished chef and was featured as one of the "Great Cooks" by Bon Apetit Magazine.

She was also known as an accomplished classical pianist, and a collector of contemporary art, particularly emerging and folk artists. She was a lover of great food, great wine, and all of the best things life has to offer.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Arlington Memorial Park with Rabbi Philip Kranz and Rabbi Jim Egolf officiating.

Wayne Mullins

Jimmy Wayne Mullins, 65, died unexpectedly at his home. Born in 1944 in Scott County, VA, Wayne spent most of his life in Kingsport. He graduated from Lynn View High School in 1963 and Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville in 1967. For several years, he was a mechanical engineer for the Boeing Company in Seattle, WA, and later he worked as a mechanical construction engineer for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant and Tennessee Valley Authority in Knoxville.

While living in Seattle, Wayne loved fishing for salmon. In Kingsport, Wayne became quite an expert in identifying trees; he loved planting them and watching them grow. Since 1955, Wayne was a member of Lynn Garden Baptist Church.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Horrie and Mary Belle Mullins, and sister, Freda Mullins.

He is survived by two sons, David Mullins and Brian Hendrickson of Madison, WI; grandchild, Nicole Mullins; brothers, Walter Mullins of Kingsport, Emory Mullins of Bristol, and Gene Mullins of Seattle, WA; sisters, Lorene Snapp, Letha Mullins, and June Begley of Kingsport, Cleo Cleek of Church Hill, and Carolyn Leftwich of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Wrye officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Lynn Garden Baptist Church, 301 May Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37665 or to any charity of choice
