Roy Morrison

BIRDSBORO, PA -- Roy Winston Morrison, 61, 60 Evangeline Drive, Birdsboro, Pa., died Monday (Aug. 3, 1992) at Reading Hospital, West Reading, Pa.

Born in Bristol, Tenn., he was the son of the late Winston Morrison and Nora Davis Morrison.  He was employed by Bogan Electric in Philadelphia, Pa.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Morrison was a member of the Electrical Workers Union and was a memver of the Oddfellows.  He was a member of the Masonic Union Lodge No. 479 F&AM of Birdsboro, Pa.

Surviving are his wife, Bobbie Campbell Morrison; one daughter, Diane Woodward, Bethlehem, Pa.; one son Row W. Morrison, Jr., Imperial Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren; his mother, Nora Davis Morrison; one brother, Ralph Morrison, Kingsport; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Gladys) Reed, Gate City and Judith Newton, Kingsport.

Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at East Lawn Funferal Home and also at the residence of Ralph Morrison, 169 Rosefield Drive, Kingsport

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jesse Wooten officiating.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be at East Memorial Park.
