Linda Kay Renfro (Statzer)

BRISTOL, Va. - Linda Kaye Renfro Statzer, 60, of Bristol, Va., went to be with the Lord Tuesday (April 17, 2007) following a brief illness.

She was a graduate of Lynn View High School in Kingsport and attended Fleenor Memorial Church, Bristol.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Hatch Renfro; a sister, Marsha Fletcher; and step-daughter, Connie Statzer Hart.

Survivors include her husband, Norvel O. Statzer, of the home; her father, Roy E. Renfro; one brother, David Renfro; three sisters, Laurie Cassell (husband Ronnie, deceased); Karen Greene and husband, Bob and Debbie Bledsoe and husband, Wayne, all of Kingsport; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; special father-in-law, Lawrence Statzer; one step-daughter, Rosemary Malone and husband, Steve; a special sister, Betty Thompson and husband, Bruce, all of Bristol; brother-in-law, Wallace Fletcher, of Church Hill; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Following a private memorial service, she was laid to rest in the Mountain View Mausoleum, Bristol, Va.
